This is our famous living soil! It is a great, well-rounded mix that plants of any kind will sure to thrive in. I put countless hours of research into developing this soil and selecting each of the amendments it contains. They're all there for a reason!
The base soil is a mix of 1/3 each rich compost, coco coir, and then 1/6 each of perlite and parboiled rice hulls. This gives it a dense but still loose/airy quality that allows roots to grow quickly within it, but also has enough substance that the roots have something to hold onto and the plant won't just tip over at a certain size. I have grown numerous plants that were 8-12 ft tall in this soil. Not even heavy storms with 80 mph winds would uproot them.
Then, the base soil is amendment with Kelp Meal Alfalfa Meal, Crustacean Meal, Neem Meal, Molasses, Humic Acid, and Yucca Extract which are all in our Organic Amendment Top Dress Blend for convenience, as well as the minerals Azomite, Gypsum, Basalt, Oyster Shell Flour, Wollastonite (Calcium Silicate), Rock Phosphate, and Langbeinite which can all be conveniently purchased together in our Mineral Booster Pack, or ALL of the amendments, both the organics and the minerals, can be purchased together in our Living Soil Total Amendment Pack.
These soil inputs were all deliberately chosen to ensure that the soil is dense enough for the roots to hold onto the soil well while providing the aeration needed for not only the plants, but the beneficial microbes in the soil’s ecosystem to be as healthy as possible, that everything the plants need to thrive are available to them, producing strong branches and stems, ability to stave off pathogens and pests to the best of their abilities, grow nutrient dense fruits or flowers, have a high production of oils, resins, and terpenes, and generally be the best, productive plants they can be while being essentially care-free without needing regular maintenance and micromanaging of the soil.
I have grown plants in this soil that I completely neglected for months at a time, through droughts, heavy storms, and freezes, and the plants still developed beautifully and provided a bountiful harvest.
You will NOT be disappointed if you give our soil a shot.
